Snapdeal unboxes happiness for puppies, appeals for adoption this festive season

Watch the digital film conceptualised by Famous Innovations here

Snapdeal has launched a digital film for Christmas season conceptualised by Famous Innovations.

The film is set in an animal shelter. It features two puppies, Timmy and Josy, who get a gift in a Snapdeal box. As they move into their warm and comfortable basket, other inmates of the shelter flock to them, around whom other Snapdeal boxes are lined up. Youngsters help the animals unbox their gifts. The film appeals to viewers to celebrate Christmas differently this year, saying 'Two legs or four, this season is for all'. It ends with an appeal to adopt pets at homes: 'Gift Timmy and Josy, and many more like them, a home' and contact details of World For All.

Kanika Kalra, VP– marketing, Snapdeal and FreeCharge, said, “This is the season when wishes are granted and dreams come true. Our Christmas video celebrates the spirit of wish-fulfillment as we unbox happiness for all loved ones – two-legged and four/ human and animals, through our Vermello (red) boxes.”

Raj Kamble, founder and CCO, Famous Innovations, added, “This film gives new meaning to 'Unboxing' and reminds everyone of those who might be ignored otherwise, during the holiday season. It’s simple, pure, honest and we hope it will move people to call the shelter, as well as care more for their animal friends in general.”

The digital film will play out on Youtube, social media platforms and the Snapdeal site.

Alongside the film, Snapdeal has introduced gifting options for pets.
