WagonR drives home a point to 'make everyday great'

Watch the ad film conceptualised by Dentsu Impact here

Maruti has rolled out a ‘make everyday great’ campaign for its WagonR and Stingray. The campaign has been conceptualised by Dentsu Impact and consists of a film. It features tales of children who explain why their father isn’t ‘the best’.

While on a picnic, as a father purposely tries to lose a game of Ludo, a girl spots it. She says ‘her father isn’t the best because he tries cheating to make her win, and gets caught.’

The next scene shows a joyous father celebrating his son’s victory. He gets off the car and dances to indicate to the onlookers that his son has won a trophy. The boy says his father isn’t the best because ‘he celebrates every victory like it’s his first victory’.

Two more children point out to why their father isn’t the best, before a girl explains that her father isn’t the best, he’s great.

The voice over explains, ‘If the way we look at greatness is great, then we will find ‘greatness’ in all of us’ and signs off with the brand’s ‘Make Everyday Great’ message.

The film was published on YouTube on 16 February 2017.
