Weekend watch: Oreo uses drones to dunk cookies

Five cookie-shaped aircrafts took the "Dunk Challenge" on National Oreo Cookie Day

On March 6th, otherwise known as National Oreo Cookie Day, the brand celebrated its 105th birthday by taking to the skies. In a continuation of its "Oreo Dunk Challenge," which began with Shaquille O’Neal using his mind to dunk a cookie, the brand used drones to dunk cookies in NYC.

Pilots flew five drones outfitted as Oreos as high as the Statue of Liberty and used them to dunk cookies into thousands of cups filled with milk sitting on a barge. A 50-second video captures "The Drone Dunk." The video, and a few GIFs, will be promoted across social channels.
