AFAA to organise 'skills re-orientation' programme in Kuala Lumpur

Following its first executive committee meeting at Kuala Lumpur, the Asian Federation of Advertising Associations (AFAA) has announced that it will organise a skills re-orientation initiative in September.

Pradeep Guha, chairman, AFAA, said, “The skills re-orientation initiative would be held in Kuala Lumpur, and young professionals would be exposed to a programme that has been carefully crafted keeping in mind the needs of our profession. The Advertising Council of India (ACI), which represents India on the AFAA International Council, would be setting in motion a process to send three young professionals representing advertising, media and marketing respectively to attend this program.”

The programme will consists of a master class conducted by senior professionals, with 30 students from countries across Asia providing a cross-cultural flavour.

A press note from AFAA informed that the committee has also planned a slew of initiatives to be rolled out in the months ahead.
