Aidem Ventures has announced plans to foray into other businesses beyond media. While more details were not shared, the agency is expected to soon announce a few joint ventures in this context. The agency has also elevated Rohit Gopakumar and Vikas Khanchandani from senior vice presidents to executive vice presidents. 

Confirming the developments, Niraj Dutt, founder director, Aidem Ventures, said, "It was in line with the company’s policy of growing talent from within and was due for them. While Vikas will now head all news-related ventures, Rohit will head all the non-news and digital businesses."

On future plans for the agency, Dutt informed Campaign India that the agency will be foray into businesses beyond media. "These ventures will fall into backward and forward integration businesses in the space. We have consolidated the businesses, and will be announcing a few JVs shortly," he added. 

Besides the two elevations, Shailendra Shetty has now been promoted to senior vice president, while Pavithra K, Anju Thakur, Namrata Tata, Hersh Bhandari, Dinesh Gupta, Anuj Dahiya and Kavita Sagar have been made vice presidents.
