Alok Lall moves out of iris

Iris has announced the departure of Alok Lall, managing director of its India office. Lall co-founded which has now grown to over 70 people and is based in Gurgaon, four years ago with Stewart Shanley, who is now the agency’s global chief operating officer, and Kenneth Augustine, creative director of iris India.

On Lall's exit, Shanley said, “I still remember meeting Alok for the first time when we were recruiting for a start-up leader in India. He immediately caught my eye as a true integrated practitioner, as well as being an iris person through and through: curious, risk-positive, entrepreneurial and a real gentleman. We wish him all the best with his next chapter and hope to see him again soon.”

iris India will now be led by a trio of Ashish Mathur, senior vice-president for experiential, Kenneth Augustine, creative director and Ram Krishna, assistant vice-president for digital and strategy, who will report directly into Shanley. In December 2010, Param Saikia who was the chief executive officer of the company had moved on to JWT Malaysia.
