Apac Effie Awards 2022: India bags 28 shortlists

Ogilvy leads with 11 shortlists; The Womb Communications (ten); Leo Burnett (five); Lowe Lintas (one); and McCann (one)

Apac Effie Awards 2022: India bags 28 shortlists
Indian agencies secured 28 of the 107 shortlists announced by the organisers of the Apac Effie Awards 2022. 
 
Ogilvy leads with 11 shortlists. Four of these came for Coca-Cola India's 'Inverting Conventions To Win' campaign. The agency's entry for Mondelēz India Foods' 'Bournvita Presents Get The Message' has bagged two shortlists. It has also bagged four more for Mondelēz India's 'Not Just A Cadbury Ad 2.0'. The final shorlist was for HUL's 'Stop The Beauty Test'. 
 
The Womb Communications bagged ten shortlists. Two of them for Campus Activewear's 'Shoes For Your Hands' campaign. USV's 'How India's Bully Got Bullied' has made the cut with two shortlists, whereas the brand's 'The Truth Will Hurt, But Will Set You Free' and 'The Talking Asterisk' have  bagged one shorlist each. The other contenders shortlisted for the agency are Cipla Health's 'The Sleeping Night-Watchmen'; Galactus Funware Technologies' 'The Brainy Game'; Nobel Hygiene's 'It’s Okay To Pee In Your Pants', and The Undie Army', all of which have bagged a shortlist each. 
 
Leo Burnett received five shortlists. Two of the shortlists are for P&G's 'Keep Girls In School' campaign, while the other three are for Mondelez India's 'Inspiring Parents To Be Playful', Pharmeasy's 'India Breaks Up With Their Chemists' and PhonePe's 'Eliminating Offline Gold Dependency' each. 
 
Lowe Lintas has one shortlist for Hindustan Unilever's 'H for Handwashing' campaign. 
 
McCann made the cut for Nestlé India's 'Creating India's Coffee Generation'. 
 
The winners will be announced in September.
