BBDO India elevates Rajesh Sikroria to president
BBDO India has elevated Rajesh Sikroria, formally EVP BBDO India, to the position of president BBDO India.

Sikroria was one of the founding members of the agency.

Jean-Paul Burge, chairman and CEO, BBDO Asia, said, "Rajesh has consistently lived up to the BBDO values, helped to build our business and focused on the work. He’s a wonderful colleague and I’m delighted to see him take on these new and expanded responsibilities."

Sikroria added, "2015 has been a phenomenal year for us; we have set the bar really high. Going forward, the challenge is to outdo ourselves. In my new national role, I am looking forward to working with more brands and scaling newer heights with our mantra of creating acts not ads."

Ajai Jhala, CEO, BBDO India, said, "We built BBDO from scratch seven years ago starting with 7Up. Rajesh has grown from employee number one to president of BBDO India by leading from the front and growing into one of the industry's best all-rounders with an ability to move fluidly between business, strategy and creative. Josy Paul and I are delighted to have him as a partner as we continue to create big ideas for big brands on big themes like gender equality through the lens of social movements."

In a career spanning close to 20 years, he has also worked with Publicis, Percept, RK Swamy BBDO and J. Walter Thompson.
