Kothari joins them from JWT Paris where she was international account director

BBDO Mumbai appoints Shefali Kothari as associate vice president

BBDO Mumbai has appointed Shefali Kothari as associate vice president. Prior to this, Kothari was with JWT Paris where she worked on Rolex as international account director.

Kothari has been in the industry for 11 years wherein she has been associated with BBDO at two other office, namely, CLM BBDO (Paris) and BBDO Europe (London).

This would be Kothari's first stint in BBDO India. On her appointment, she commented, "My primary mandate at BBDO India is to serve as business director for the Johnson & Johnson and BlackBerry Businesses as well as new business director at the Mumbai office. Over and above this, I will work with Ajai Jhala and Josy Paul to create programs and tie ups, an ecosystem that will attract talent from outside the industry. Our dream is to make the ashram a sanctuary for diversity and a platform for collaboration and community, so that our brands and clients benefit."
