Colgate signs Mahesh Bhupathi, Rahul Bose as brand ambassadors

Porus Turner, Rekha Rao, Mahesh Bhupathi and Rahul Bose

Colgate-Palmolive has signed in tennis player Mahesh Bhupathi and actor/rugby player Rahul Bose as brand endorsers for Colgate Total.

In a bid to spread awareness among consumers about the significance of a healthy mouth, the two celebrities will feature in a series of TVCs which will be aired across the country on both national as well as regional channels.

On the decision of bringing the two celebrities on board for Colgate Total, Rekha Rao, vice president - marketing, Colgate-Palmolive (India), said, "Healthy living and wellness is on a rise in India and therefore in order to deliver the message of having a 'healthy mouth', we wanted someone who could embody health and we thought that Mahesh Bhupathi and Rahul Bose were a perfect choice for delivering that message."

The creative mandate for the campaign has been handled by Bates Asia.
