Euro RSCG kicks off 'Lets Colour' campaign for Dulux

Euro RSCG has come up with a new commercial for Dulux. Part of their Let's Colour campaign, this commercial was shot in Jodhpur where several people from the local community joined the team of Dulux to paint the 'Purohiton Ki Havelli' community square, a boys' school and a building on the high street.

The project was produced globally by Stink London and directed by Adam Berg.

Jodhpur, nicknamed the blue city, had several shades of blue, pink and purple left on it by the time the project ended.

The team also travelled to Rio de Janeiro, London and Paris to bring additional colour to the campaign.

Amitabh Bhattacharya, executive producer, Nomad Films said, "More than 75 people were painting simultaneously as there was no scope for retakes. So everything and everyone had to be co-ordinated. On the last day we formed 11 teams (one leader and five painters), co-ordinated by ten location co-ordinators, one chief assistant director, two assistant directors, one production designer and five production managers."

The entire painting process was rehearsed earlier with local residents and the production team. To minimise the paint spillage in the streets, 600 metres of plastic sheets were used.

For the record, this campaign has been done by Euro RSCG Worldwide. In India, Dulux is handled by BBDO India.
