Fiat Linea wins car TVC of the year at Bloomberg-UTV Autocar Awards

Fiat Linea's 'Father and son' TVC won the 'Car advertisement of the year' at the Bloomberg UTV-Autocar Awards held in Mumbai on Friday evening. The TVC is part of a campaign executed by the agency Bates141. The creative team behind the TVC includes Sonal Dabral, Sanjay Sipahimalani, Kaushik Mitra and Joseph Desouza. Fiat Linea's 'Father and son' TVC won the 'Car advertisement of the year' at the Bloomberg UTV-Autocar Awards held in Mumbai on Friday evening. The big award for the evening for 'Car of the Year' went to Tata Nano. Ratan Tata, chairman, Tata Group was personally present to receive the award. "I'd like to thank Bloomberg UTV and Autocar for recognizing the efforts of the engineers and designers who've worked hard on making the Tata Nano a reality. Thank you for the honour," Tata said, accepting the award.

Meanwhile Bajaj's Pulsar 135 4v won the 'Bike of the year', while Tata Indigo Manza was awarded 'Best Value for Money car'.

The jury for the awards consisted of Dilip Chhabria (India’s leading car designer), Manwendra Singh (automobile historian) Hormazd Sorabjee (editor, Autocar India), Shapur Kotwal (deputy editor, Autocar India), Renuka Kirpalani (editor, Autocar Show), Rajeev Khanna (former rally driver) and Naren Kumar (six times National Champion).
