Flamingo to open shop in Mumbai

Brand consultancy and research firm Flamingo is set to open its Mumbai office in July. It is present in London, New York, Shanghai, Tokyo and Singapore presently.

The team in Mumbai will be headed by David Burrows, CEO. Moving with him from Flamingo’s London office are Lavanya Jayashankar and Bhavita Trivedi. Joining them in Mumbai will be Latika Neelakantan, former VP at Quantum Consumer Solutions.

Burrows said, "We have been working in India for many years out of our other hubs in London and Singapore, but more and more clients have been saying: 'So when are you opening in India?' They seem to think we have something rather unique to offer, and we're excited to now be bringing our particular blend of cultural insight and strategic thinking to Mumbai."

Besides developing new business, Flamingo’s Mumbai office will service existing clients such as Unilever, PepsiCo, and Tata, informed an official statement.
