Maxus lands Rediff.com’s media duties

After handing over its creative duties to BBH recently, Rediff.com has brought Maxus on board as its media agency. There was no pitch involved in the process.

The account size, according to sources close to the account, is estimated to be Rs 25 crore.

Though Rediff.com did not have a media agency on record before this, it did work with Network on a project-to-project basis.

“Ajit Balakrishnan, founder chairman of Rediff.com was very keen to work with a Group M agency,” said Ajit Verghese (pictured), managing director, Maxus. “Bagging an account without a pitch demonstrates the growing trust and credence Maxus as a brand is commanding in the industry. Rediff.com is a strong brand and we are looking forward to taking it to greater heights.”
