He will continue as CEO of Indian operations

McCann Worldgroup names Prasoon Joshi Apac chairman
McCann Worldgroup has announced that Prasoon Joshi has been elevated to the newly created position of chairman for the Asia Pacific region.
 
He will work alongside Charles Cadell, president, McCann Worldgroup Asia Pacific, and Jesse Lin, chief executive officer, McCann Worldgroup Greater China.
 
Prior to this, Joshi was president of McCann Worldgroup South Asia. He will continue as CEO of McCann Worldgroup India and will be based in Mumbai.

Joshi joined McCann India in 2002 as executive VP and national creative director.
