Mudra Connext hires Manas Mishra as EVP, national head

Manas Mishra has been appointed as executive vice president and national head for the Mudra Group's media agency, Mudra Connext. Based out of Mumbai, Mishra (pictured) will oversee Mudra Connext's operations across six cities in India, including Mumbai, Delhi and Kolkata. Before this appointment, Mishra was general manager at Mediaedge:cia, where he handled the Mumbai operations.

Manas Mishra has been appointed as executive vice president and national head for the Mudra Group's media agency, Mudra Connext. Based out of Mumbai, Mishra (pictured) will oversee Mudra Connext's operations across six cities in India, including Mumbai, Delhi and Kolkata. Speaking about the appointment, Chandradeep Mitra, president, Mudra MAX said, "I am thrilled to have Manas on board as the head of Connext. I am confident of his capability of taking Connext to the next level of professional excellence."

Commenting on his new role, Manas Mishra said, "Having understood Connext and the promise of Mudra MAX, I believe it will connect with advertisers, media partners and most importantly consumers, through its work. I am keen on taking charge of this mandate and will definitely help strengthen the team to do some really good work for our clients. Thus, in time, success will speak for itself."

Mishra holds an MBA from NMIMS, and has over 13 years of experience across communication groups such as WPP, IPG and the Publicis Groupe. He kickstarted his career with Contract Advertising, and moved to Starcom in 2000. He has also had a stint at Initiative Media as associate VP, before moving on to Mediaedge:cia.
