Mudra Max bags the ‘Best in Asia’ dragon for ‘Silent Anthem’

The 11th Promotion Marketing Awards of Asia (PMAA) turned out to be a good outing for Indian agencies. The 55 dragons that the Indian contingent won, Mudra Max also brought home ‘The Best in Asia’ as well as ‘The Best in India’ dragon for their entry ‘Silent Anthem’ created for Big Cinemas. The agency won 12 awards at this year’s awards including three Gold dragons. Among other winners, Jagran Solutions won two Gold dragons, and one each by Hungama Digital Entertainment and Bates141.

Mudra Max won two gold awards for the 'Silent Anthem' in the ‘Best Innovative Idea or Concept category’ and the ‘Best Cause, Charity or Corporate Responsibility Marketing Campaign’ category; and one gold metal for Volkswagen Vento 'Talking Newspaper' in the ‘Best Product Launch or Re-launch’ category. Jagran Solutions won their Gold awards for their work on Casio's 'Casio Music Workshop' in the ‘Best Use of Social Marketing in a Promotion Marketing Campaign’ category, and for Yahoo! India's 'Learn with Yahoo' in the ‘Best Activity Generating Brand Volume’ category. Hungama Digital Media’s entry for Pepsi’s ‘7 Up - You Click, I Dance’ campaign won a Gold in the ‘Best Digital Promotion Marketing Campaign’ category, while Bates141’s ‘Virgin Mobile Indian Panga League’ campaign won the Gold in the ‘Best Use of the Internet in a Promotion Marketing Campaign’ category.

In the ‘Best Digital Promotion Marketing Campaign’ category, Solutions | Digitas (India) won a Silver for their entry titled ‘Start Tabbing’ for Samsung Electronics India. In the ‘Best Innovative Idea or Concept’ category, Mudra Max won a Silver award for its entry ‘Talking Newspaper’ campaign for Volkswagen. Evolve Brands’ ‘Norton Champs’ entry for Symantec Software Solutions won the agency a Bronze in the ‘Best B2B Campaign’ category.

Jagran Solutions’ ‘Learn with Yahoo’ campaign secured a Silver metal in the ‘Best Retail, Key Account or Channel Specific Campaign’ category. Ogilvy Action and Vibgyor Brand Services won Silver and Bronze award each in the ‘Best Event or Experiential Marketing Campaign’ category for their entries titled ‘Project Swasthya Chetna’ for HUL and ‘Maybelline - Gals in the city’ for L'oreal India respectively.

In the ‘Best Activity Generating Short or Long Term Brand Loyalty’ category, Hungama Digital Media won a Bronze metal for its ‘7 Up - You Click, I Dance’ campaign for Pepsi. All three winners in the ‘Best Use of Social Marketing in a Promotion Marketing Campaign’ category were from India. Along with Jagran’s gold in the category, telecom service provider Aircel won a Silver dragon for ‘Aircel Save Our Tigers’ entry, while Hungama Digital Media’s ‘Golmaal Charades’ entry for Shree Ashtavinayak Cinevision won a bronze metal.

Solutions | Digitas won a bronze metal in the ‘Best Product Launch or Re-Launch’ category for its entry ‘KIT KAT Break Banta Hai’ for Nestle India. Mudra Max’s ‘Lemon Pattalam Season 2’ for 7Up won a Silver bronze in the ‘Best Brand Awareness and Trial Campaign’ category. In the ‘Best Small Budget Campaign’ category, Accentiv' and Bates141 won a Silver dragon each for their entries titled ‘Ticket Cricket Premier League’ for Edenred India and ‘Virgin Mobile Indian Panga League’ for Virgin Mobile respectively.

JWT, SOI Live Marketing & Events, Krayon Entertainment, Candid Marketing, MRM Worldwide and Big City Promotions were also among the winning Indian agencies with ‘Orders of Merit’.
