Myntra ropes in Vikas Ahuja as CMO

E-commerce portal Myntra has appointed Vikas Ahuja as its chief marketing officer (CMO), with immediate effect.

In his new role, Ahuja will be responsible for the sales and marketing functions and driving the overall brand strategy at Myntra.

Mukesh Bansal, CEO and co-founder, Myntra, said, "This is a critical and incredibly exciting time for Myntra as we continue to scale our business. Our focus is on being the next generation fashion destination in the country. Vikas has an excellent track record of building and scaling businesses, and we are truly convinced, with his strong leadership qualities, Vikas will be a tremendous asset in helping us shape and create the next phase in our evolution."

With over 18 years of sales and marketing experience, Ahuja has held various leadership roles at Nestle. In his last role, he was country business manager for Nestle India.
