Neha Contractor appointed vice president, Orchard Advertising

Orchard Advertising has roped in Neha Contractor as vice president.

Contractor joins the agency from Digital Law and Kenneth, where she was business head, India. She joined the agency in November 2012 (source: LinkedIn).

On the appointment, Thomas Xavier, NCD, Orchard Advertising, said, "Neha comes with a reputation for taking organisations to the next level. She has hands on experience in not just mainstream advertising, but in digital and activation as well. In my conversations with Neha I found a 'can do' spirit that is perfect for Orchard. Neha is a playing captain, someone who leads from the front."

Contractor said, "An agency that redefined many industries with its creative thinking like Air Deccan, Kinder Joy, Thums Up, TOI, McDonalds and many others, clearly define themselves as challengers. I have been a a part of  leader brands for a long time, now it’s time to move on to a challenger brand! Clients don’t believe in ‘the line’ – below, above or through. We want to erase it. I’m excited to drive the integrated functions of Leo Burnett and Orchard.”

In a career spanning 13 years, she has also worked with DDB Mudra and Ogilvy & Mather, besides founding Carpe Dieum.
