Malhaar Rao, Ganesh Nayak, R Venkatraman and Abhiruchi Chand join the agency

New creative intake at BBH India

BBH India has strengthened its creative team with four new brand partners (creative) who come with diverse backgrounds and expertise. 

Malhaar Rao, a Miami Ad School alumnus, moves in with experiences at agencies such as Brand David and Bates and has been recognised at the One Show, Cannes Lions, New York Festivals, and Goafest. 

Ganesh Nayak has worked with Ogilvy & Mather and Leo Burnett and has won awards at Asia Pacific Adfest, Clio Awards, NY Fest, Spikes Asia, FAB Awards, Goafest, Young Achievers Award-Art Director of the Year 2011. Nayak also won the AAAI Cannes Young Lions 2011 contest. 

R Venkatraman has been in advertising for more than six years and has worked with SSC&B Lintas, RMG David, Grey Worldwide and Creativeland Asia. He has won awards at Cannes Lions, Asia Pacific Adfest, Abbys and Goafest, and was one of the winners of the Youtube Cannes Lions 48-hour film contest in June this year.  Venkatraman is also a guitarist of the metal band called ‘Bhayanak Maut’. 

Abhiruchi Chand moves to advertising after being a journalist at The Times of India, Delhi and zoOm TV, Mumbai. Her area of focus has been cinema and lifestyle, and she is also said to be a film writer. 

Commenting on the new recruits, Raj Kamble, managing partner and chief creative officer, BBH India, said, “We are very excited about this new addition to the BBH India family. There is something common between all of them—they are what we, at BBH, call ‘black sheep’. They are vibrant, have unique points of view and a great understanding of new media. Above all, they are nice human beings.”
