Premier Badminton League assigns digital mandate to DAN's Columbus
Dentsu Aegis Network's Columbus India has won the digital media duties for the Premier Badminton League (PBL).  The tournament will run between 23 December and 14 January. 
 
The PBL is managed by Sportzlive, a venture funded company which primarily focusses on investing and creating Sports IPR's. Earlier this year, Columbus India had won the digital duties for the company.
 
Prasad Mangipudi, founder, Sportzlive, said, “This relationship will help Sportzlive and PBL to get media engagement services from Columbus’ unique ‘Media Engagement Framework’, enabling the event to reach millions of digital audiences in India and abroad”.
 
Atul Pande, managing director, Sportzlive, said, “Digital is going to be a focus area of our marketing spends as our viewers are majorly online enabling us to build a larger sporting community across all sporting events managed by SportzLive”
 
Nitin Sabharwal, CBO, Columbus India, said, “We look forward to this chapter of PBL with great enthusiasm and have deployed a dedicated team for media measurement and data driven media buying. Our audience engagement framework will ensure that PBL gets to reach maximum badminton and sports enthusiasts across the globe ”.
