Rediffusion's Kailas and Banerjee elevated

Kailas is now CSO while Banjeree promoted as strategy planning head

Rediffusion's Kailas and Banerjee elevated
Kavita Kailas has been elevated to the position of chief strategy officer at Rediffusion Y&R, taking over from Gautam Talwar, who has left the agency.

Prior to this, Kailas was heading the strategic planning function across Delhi, Kolkata and the agency's Southern operations.

Prithviraj Banerjee, strategy head at Rediffusion Y&R, will also lead the strategic planning division at Everest Brand Solutions.

Dhunji S. Wadia, president, Rediffusion Y & R said, “For quite sometime, Gautam Talwar has been nurturing the idea of pursuing interests beyond advertising. And I think the time has come to allow him to follow his passions. So after a hard working stint, Gautam is taking a well-deserved break before deciding what his next chapter should be. I thank him for all his help and support and wish him the very best in whatever he chooses to do."

On the appointments, he added, "Kavita Kailas gets promoted to chief strategy officer and will continue to be the lighthouse resource for our clients and brands. She is meant for this role. For the last few years she has been heading the strategic planning function across our Delhi, Kolkata and Southern operations. She has been exemplifying every day what it means to be a client's most valued partner.  Kavita has a great love of our business, our clients and our people that infuses all that she does. Unleashing her enthusiasm and her expertise will make a real difference in how we serve our clients. Prithvi’s (Prithviraj Banerjee) passion for our agency, his intellectual curiosity and integrity, along with his deep collaborative way of working will make a difference to our clients and to our agency.”
