RK Swamy Hansa has entered into a sales and marketing arrangement with viaLanguage, a language translation, website/software localisation solution provider based out of Portland in the US. The purpose of the new entity HANSAviaLanguage is to build partnerships with Indian companies to address all their needs when going international, in terms of marketing materials, technical manuals, websites or software.

Under the terms of the agreement, HANSAviaLanguage will provide the marketing and customer relationship management support, and viaLanguage will provide the project management support and access to their network of language experts, ‘memory bank’ software and the Online Translation System.

According to Shekar Swamy, group chief executive officer, RK Swamy Hansa, “The global language translation service, with a network of in-country translators, is designed to be culture sensitive and customer focused. We are confident that this will fill a major need. We have been working with viaLanguage as their project hub for two years serving US clients. This is a natural extension for us.”

ViaLanguage’s vice president of corporate sales Darren Megarry said, “We are very excited to be in India, where more and more companies are eyeing the global marketplace. We are particularly delighted with our partnership with the RK Swamy Hansa Group who is so well respected in this market. Their in depth knowledge and experience will be invaluable to the partnership.”

HANSAviaLanguage already has a sales and marketing team in place. The service will expand to major cities in the next six months.
