Starcom MediaVest India bags Novartis business

Following Starcom MediaVest winning the global media duties for Novartis in December 2011, it is understood the agency's Indian operations have also bagged the business.

MEC was the incumbent agency globally.

At the time of the global win in December 2011, as per a Campaign UK report, a press statement from Novartis had said, "After an extensive evaluation and careful consideration, we can confirm that Novartis has selected Starcom MediaVest Group (SMG) as our new global media agency. While we are not remaining with GroupM, we appreciate the relationship we have had with them over the past several years."
