Following a multi-agency pitch, Subway Systems India, which runs the Subway chain of restaurants, has handed it creative duties to Publicis Capital.

Sanjiv Pande, marketing manager, Subway, said, "Over the course of past few meetings, Publicis team has demonstrated a good understanding of the Subway brand personality and business strategy in the market. In the current competitive scenario, creating a differentiation within its category is the need of the hour for the brand, where we see Publicis working in close partnership with us to help achieve the business and brand objectives."

On the win, Hemant Misra, CEO, Publicis Capital, added, “We are delighted to partner Subway in the furious pace of growth set by them. Since our first meeting there was a chemistry that worked for everybody in the room. There was a sincerity of purpose and a straightforward way of working that inspired us. We look forward to growing together."
