Sun Network group CEO Tony D'Silva puts in his papers

Chennai-headquartered Sun Network group CEO Tony D'Silva has put in his papers after close to five years with the group. D'Silva confirmed the news to Campaign India, and 31 July will be his last day at Sun.

He joined as COO of the direct-to-home (DTH) business Sun Direct in September 2007. He was promoted to the position of group CEO overseeing the portfolio including television channels, radio stations, print products and DTH in April 2010.

D'Silva said that he would be relocating to Mumbai in August.
