TBWA\India brings in Manosh Mukherjee as Group COO and CFO

TBWA has announced the appointment of Manosh Mukherjee to the position of chief operating officer and chief financial officer of the TBWA\Group in India.

Mukherjee joins TBWA\India following 11 years at a WPP agency in India. He will take over the reins from Niraj Dadoo, who has laid the groundwork for TBWA\India over the past two years, but is moving overseas.

“I am absolutely delighted to partner with Shiv on this initiative – in helping to grow Omnicom’s business in India at TBWA\India. TBWA is clearly poised to scale to greater heights and I am excited and happy to be a part of the agency’s ‘Disruption’ mantra,” said Mukherjee.

Commenting on Dadoo’s departure, Shiv Sethuraman, TBWA\India’s chief executive officer, said, “I must thank Niraj for the fantastic job he has done over the past two years. He joined TBWA right in the middle of the economic downturn and set about creating the sound financial and commercial pillars necessary for TBWA’s growth in the long run. We wish him the best in his future endeavors.”

On Mukherjee’s appointment, Sethuraman commented, “I am very pleased that we found someone as qualified and experienced as Manosh to take over the reins from Niraj. He is a seasoned professional and has worked alongside some of the industry’s leading figures as their commercial and financial partner in his long innings with Bates 141.”

TBWA\Asia Pacific’s chief operating officer Alain Rhone added, “Niraj has been my partner in the last two years in building a strong foundation that the group needed in India and I am very grateful to him. I am also excited to welcome Manosh, who shares our passion for raising TBWA to the next level in this key market. He will be a greatally for Shiv and for TBWA’s operations in Asia.”
