
Wesley Sneijder has dominated the transfer headlines for the last week, with Manchester United rumoured to be very close to securing a deal for the Dutch playmaker. Some reports over the week suggested the Sir Alex Ferguson was not interested in signing the midfielder, while others suggested, Sneijder was extremely close to a move to Old Trafford.
