Transfer Gossip: Who’s going where in the Barclays Premier League

Following the signing of Ashley Young last week, Manchester United snapped another (third) young signing this week, when they completed the signing of Spanish U-21 goalkeeper, David de Gea. De Gea was part of the Spanish Euro U-21 winning team,  and signed with the club from Old Trafford almost immediately after the tournament ended.  Read more on his arrival here
 
Gael Clichy, who was linked with a move to Liverpool and AS Roma, is set to join big-spenders Manchester City. Rumours surrounding the clubs are suggesting that fellow French and Arsenal colleague Samir Nasri, will also be joining the Blue half of Manchester. Reports earlier suggested that Nasri was on his way to Manchester United, with Sir Alex Ferguson showing keen interest in signing the playmaker. Watch out for this one. Read more here

With all the exits, Arsene Wenger is sure to have the cash to splurge to bring in players too. His first major signing of the summer could be Lille’s striker, Gervinho. The striker claims that his move to North London is complete already and could be unveiled at the club very soon. Read more here 

Liverpool midfielder Alberto Aquilani has ended his loan stint at Juventus and re-joins the club from Anfield. Lots of rumours surrounded the exit of the Italian to a club from the Serie A, but the 27 year old midfielder seems to have ended them by saying, ‘he’s very enthusiastic” to return to the club. Kenny Dalglish had called the midfielder the forgotten man earlier this year, and with a deal for Charlie Adam not completed yet, the midfielder may just be a part of his plans. Read more here
