UTV Bindass appoints Keith Alphonso as business head

Nikhil Gandhi will be heading the launch of UTV’s mass specialty channel and continue to head the Network ad sales function.

UTV Bindass appoints Keith Alphonso as business head

UTV Bindass has announced the recent appointment of Keith Alphonso as the business head for UTV Bindass. Alphonso will take over the reins of the channel from Nikhil Gandhi. Gandhi has been entrusted the responsibility of launching an upcoming mass specialty channel in the UTV bouquet as business head and will continue to head the Network ad sales function.

Confirming the development, MK Anand, chief executive officer – Broadcasting, UTV said, "We are extremely delighted to have Keith Alphonso on board. With his massive experience in the industry and a strong background in ad-sales, Keith will certainly help consolidate the position of brand Bindass as India’s leading youth media brand.”

Alphonso has over 15 years of experience in media business management and has been a part of the broadcast entertainment industry for seven years. In the past, he has worked on brands like The Times of India, Zoom and MTV. In his new role, at UTV Bindass, he will report directly to MK Anand.
