Apis appoints PV Sindhu
 
Apis India, a producer, distributor and exporter of honey under the Apis Himalaya brand, has roped in PV Sindhu as brand ambassador. Earlier this year, Sindhu won a silver medal at the Rio Olympics. Apis India's portfolio also includes cookies, tea and preserves. 
 
ASCI upholds complaints against 151 ads
 
ASCI’s Consumer Complaints Council (CCC) upheld complaints against 151 ads in September 2016. The self regulatory body received 199 complaints in the month. Of upheld complaints, 75 were from the Education category, 39 from Healthcare, 10 were in Food and Beverages and eight from Personal Care. 
 
Media World Ventures bags Gold's Gym
 
Media World Ventures has bagged the marketing and PR mandate for Gold's Gym following a multi-agency pitch. The agency will be looking to build a marketing strategic framework for Gold’s Gym. Gold’s Gym is present in 65 Indian cities, through 110 branches. 
 
Priyanka Chopra among Pantene global ambassadors
 
Pantene has roped in Priyanka Chopra as one of its global brand ambassadors, alongside Selena Gomez, Ellie Goulding and Gisele Bundchen. A statement from Pantene stated that Chopra is the first Indian to represent the brand globally.  
 
Thought Blurb wins Lulu Mall's advertising duties
 
UAE-headquartered Lulu Group has appointed Thought Blurb to handle the creative mandate of its flagship mall in India, Lulu Mall, Kochi. The account was won post a multi-agency pitch. A statement informed that the group will enter other cities in Kerala and the rest of India, but did not specify a timeframe.
