ASCI upholds complaints against 145 
 
During the month of February 2019, ASCI investigated complaints against 243 advertisements, of which the advertisers ensured corrective action for 63 after receiving the complaints from ASCI. The Consumer Complaints Council (CCC) of ASCI upheld complaints against 145 of  the remaining 180. Of these 145 advertisements, 83 belonged to the healthcare sector, 33 to education, 10 to F&B, one to personal care. Eighteen belonged to the ‘others’ category.
 
GolinOpinion wins Charmboard's PR mandate 
 
GolinOpinion has bagged the PR mandate for Charmboard, an in-video discovery platform. The account was won following a multi-agency pitch. GolinOpinion's Bengaluru office will handle the account. Charmboard is an in-video discovery platform that allows potential customers to explore products from within a video through a simple touch mechanism. 
 
Oppo gets Kartik Aaryan as brand ambassador
 
Oppo has announced the appointment of Kartik Aaryan as brand ambassador. The actor features in the TVC for the Oppo F11 film that has been conceptualised by Ogilvy. 
 
Anmol Industries appoints Social Beat
 
Biscuit manufacturer Anmol Industries, has appointed Social Beat to manage its digital mandate. The agency will help Anmol Industries diversify their product portfolio and brand visibility across the country. 
 
Vertoz launches native advertising solutions for regional advertising
 
Vertoz has announced the launch of native advertising solutions in India with a special focus on regional traffic. The agency offers brands native advertising campaigns across regional news publishers and blogs in 10 Indian languages.
