Zee5 to launch short video platform for 'Atmanirbhar' India
Zee5 has revealed the name of its short video platform. 
 
According to a statement from Zee, the app called HiPi has been made for an 'Atmanirbhar Bharat' and the name comes from the vision of a youthful and carefree planet.
 
The announcement comes on the back of the Indian Government banning TikTok and 58 other apps. 
Through HiPi, Zee5 aims to unlock the potential talent that this country has by inviting content creators who are seeking a platform that encourages creativity.
