Colors opens wide lead over STAR Plus
Riding on the deliveries from Khatron Ke Khiladi (opening 4.4 TVRs, average for Mon to Thu 4.1 TVRs), Colors jumped to 325 GRPs for Week 37 (TAM, CS 4+, HSM), ahead of STAR Plus (273 GRPs) by a whopping 52 GRPs. Colors goes all out to push Khatron Ke Khiladi Level 2
Colors has unveiled a high visibility integrated marketing push for the second season of its format show, Khatron Ke Khiladi Level 2. “For a show that has the potential and the scale to engage with audience across demographics, psychographics and geographies, we needed a very scientifically designed campaign that ensures that Khatron ke Khiladi Level 2 becomes a part of your day and week,” said Rameet Arora, Head of Marketing Colors . The channel ran a full page cover ad in regional and national dailies across 89 cities.
Colors launches the second season of Khatron Ke Khiladi
Colors has launched the second season of the reality show Fear Factor- Khatron Ke Khiladi which features Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar. This time around, the show will invite viewers to participate along with Kumar and other celebrities.The auditions will be held in February across the country for viewers who want to participate in the show. The auditions will be conducted in Mumbai, Delhi, Kolkata, Lucknow and Ahmedabad.
Khatron ke Khiladi peaks at 2.3 TVRs
Colors, the Hindi GEC from Viacom 18, clocked 81 GRPs, in five and a half days of programming, according to this week's TAM's reports.While their driver show, Khatron Ke Khiladi, averaged 2 TVRs with peak ratings being 2.3, fiction-based shows also showed healthy numbers. Balika Vadhu averaged 0.9 for the week with a peak rating of 1.2 and Jai Shri Krishna averaged 0.8 with a peak rating of 0.9. "Two fiction shows touching and crossing a one-mark is heartening," said Rajesh Kamath, CEO, Colors.
