InterGlobe celebrates silver jubilee with ad campaign

InterGlobe, the parent company for IndiGo airlines and a player in the aviation, hospitality and travel services sector, has launched an ad campaign to celebrate its 25th anniversary. The TVC created for which has been conceptualised by Weiden+Kennedy.
 
The ad film is a nod to the work commitment of its 16000 employees. The animated film shows little yellow workers likened by the narration to the Shoemaker's Elves who get the job done while remaining out of sight. The film shows groups of these characters going about in the night working at the airport, inside the aircrafts, in hotels and also at the company's technology centers from 'New York to New Delhi'. They return back as the day breaks having successfully completed another round of upkeep and maintenance. The film ends with the brand logo and a sign off saying 'They make the world go round'.
 
Rahul Bhatia, group managing director, said “When we started in 1989, we were a handful of individuals with sketchy thoughts and virtually empty pockets. Since we understood the travel industry, we were able to leverage opportunities and create new segments in this sector.The campaign showcases the diversity and efficiency of our operations in a fresh and youthful manner.”
 
The ad campaign will straddle in-cinema, print, TV, social media and digital platforms.
