Matrimonial planning gets a glow-up with Hilton’s revamped ‘Wedding Diaries’ campaign

Hilton’s ‘Wedding Ambassador’ says hello to seamless nuptials, ensuring stress-free planning with curated digital offerings that dazzle and delight.

Hilton India is giving its 'Wedding Diaries' initiative a glamorous makeover. Originally launched in 2021, this revamped version comes with a splashy digital campaign, complete with captivating video series across various platforms.

Hilton India is rolling out a vibrant new campaign, starring a snazzy video filmed at its luxe Conrad Pune property. Produced by MagicCircle Communications, this digital campaign captures the playful rivalry between a bride and groom, showcasing the fun that is the mainstay of Indian weddings.

It also highlights the wedding ambassador's behind-the-scenes magic in orchestrating surprises. The catchy original wedding tune in the background adds to the festive, lively vibe of the celebrations.

Manish Tolani, vice president and commercial director, South Asia of Hilton, said "The launch of ‘Wedding Diaries’, underscores Hilton’s commitment to providing exceptional wedding experiences in the country. Our goal is to simplify the process and deliver a personalised experience that reflects each couple’s unique style and preferences. Hilton’s wedding ambassador showcases our signature Hilton hospitality and helps families realise their vision and deliver the ‘forever’ experience.”

As part of the hotel company’s commitment to sustainability, the revamped ‘Wedding Diaries’ offers couples the chance to throw a planet-friendly bash. By teaming up with ClimeCo, guests can make their wedding carbon-neutral by purchasing offsets.

With the ‘Meet with Purpose’ package, couples can opt for eco-friendly practices, like cutting down on carbon, water, and waste. The menu can feature locally-sourced ingredients, and certified green vendors are on hand to ensure every detail meets high environmental standards.

Gaurangi Mathur, senior creative director of MagicCircle Communications added, " Our goal with the Wedding Diaries campaign was to capture Hilton’s signature warmth and hospitality, highlighting the meticulous care they offer to families and couples who wish to host their wedding in a Hilton property. It was an exciting challenge to integrate Hilton's ethos into this campaign and showcase their focus on curating memorable wedding experiences."

The campaign kicked off on July 31st, lighting up major digital platforms. Hilton is not stopping there; it is on the hunt for strategic co-branding partners to boost the ‘Wedding Diaries' clout. The goal? To make a splash in key markets and connect with a wider audience.

Campaign’s take: Move over Bollywood, the recent Ambani wedding just redefined the Indian big-fat-wedding with a blockbuster flair. This star-studded extravaganza has set the bar sky-high, becoming the talk of the town as wedding season kicks off.

Hilton’s latest ad shows how to turn wedding dreams into reality without the usual chaos. Enter the ‘Wedding Ambassador’—a personal VIP guide who makes sure every detail, from start to finish, is flawless.

The Hilton video shows how an average Indian family can aspire to attain these levels; all by waving goodbye to wedding planning mayhem. The introduction of the ‘Wedding Ambassador’ comes as the ultimate matchmaker between a family and its dream venue. The ad shows how this VIP guide can handle every detail, from the first chat to the big day, ensuring that the wedding is as smooth and spectacular as a person envisions.
