MMGB: Nandu brand lungis

Watch the commercials by Dreammakers here

This weekend reading included reports on the ‘lungi’ coming to the forefront, thanks in no small measure to Shah Rukh-starrer Chennai Express and Deepika Padukone trying to look cool in one.

There’s a regional brand of lungis called Nandu (crab) from a company called VSG, that’s been on air for a while now with ads that try to make the lungi cool. Dreammakers is the agency behind the campaigns.

Language won’t be a problem in comprehending these films. But the interpretation might vary between ‘fun’ and ‘funny’.

Get comfortable for a great work week.
