Paytm promises to solve all travel twists

Watch the ad film conceptualised by McCann here

Paytm has rolled out a new film to push its flight, train and bus ticket booking offerings. The film has been conceptualised by McCann..

It opens with a boy on a video call with his mother as his friend is sitting alongside. The lady asks the son about his plans to visit her in Bengaluru. The son replies in the affirmative and says that he's just booking his train tickets. While replying he opens the Paytm app to book the ticket. The lady asks her son to come earlier as she wants him to meet a girl who is visiting their house for lunch. The son is angered by that and threatens to reach home even later as he considers changing his travel booking from a train to a bus.

The boy who was seated next to him through the conversation then asks the lady to show the picture of the girl. This makes his friend change his mind. He happily agrees to meet the girl and turns to the Paytm app to book a flight instead. The film ends with the message “Bus, Train, Flights jaise chaho, waise travel karo. Paytm karo.”

Shankar Nath, SVP, Paytm, said, “The key objective of our latest brand film is to create more visibility and awareness about the host of travel booking services we offer ranging from bus, train and flight ticketing to hotel bookings. The convenience of finding the complete bouquet of air, rail and road travel booking options under one roof combined with the ease of payment has established us as the one-stop destination for everyone’s travel needs. The film is a quirky and humorous take on the seamlessness of the entire process and how it can touch our lives.”
