Reserve Bank of India and Amitabh Bachchan urge users to be alert and aware

The Reserve Bank of India has rolled out a consumer awareness campaign featuring actor Amitabh Bachchan.
 
In the film, a couple has purchased a washing machine and is showing the same to Bachchan. That's when the man gets an alert on his phone, which urges him to scan a QR code and avail a Rs 2,000 cashback. Bachchan informs the man that one doesn't require a QR code scan or an OTP to avail cashbacks and warns him against financial fraud.
