Sony Bravia seeds magic to bring alive a ‘colour tree’, highlights display quality

Watch the ad film created by Hakuhodo Percept

Sony India has released a commercial highlighting the ‘triluminos display’ feature of its Bravia brand of televisions. The TVC created by Hakuhodo Percept went on air on 2 October.

The film opens with a young boy in his room spotting his friends running off to play. He runs in their direction, and stops at a water body at the foot of some hills where he spots three coloured, glowing balls. He picks them up and observes them in wonderment with a smile. When his friends approach, he runs away with the balls.  He buries them under a near barren tree near the water, and falls asleep resting on it. He is soon awakened with colourful leaves falling from the tree. His friends join him and together they celebrate amidst the colourful leaves. A voice over announces ‘The most magical colour experience with Triluminos LED – Bravia’.

Sabuj Sengupta, ECD, Hakuhodo Percept, said, "Technology like Triluminos didn’t exist before. So the real challenge was to make people exeprience the absolute brilliance and magic of not just colours but Triluminos colours."

Ryusuke Fukushima, head marketing communication, Sony India, said, “Triluminos creates truer, deeper and richer shades of every colour that really enhances the overall TV watching experience. The aim was to establish Triluminos as a synonym of the most incredible colours and our new TVC does it successfully."
