Campaign India Agency Report Card 2011: Triton Communications

How Campaign India rates the agency: 5

Campaign India Agency Report Card 2011: Triton Communications

Type of agency: Advertising

Ownership: Independent

Key Personnel: Munawar Syed, director, Ali Merchant, director

Account won: Add Gel pens, ECS Infotech, Orient’s new appliance division, Videocon’s Digiworld

Account lost: None reported

There are clearly some mid-sized account wins but at the same time, not much of visible work. As mentioned earlier, the jury accessed every agency’s performance firstly on the basis of the creative work done on their respective brands and then the recognition for the same, if at all. So, mere winning of accounts doesn’t truly add up to the ratings. Triton, for as long as one can remember, has been known for handling Paras Pharmaceuticals, but now that it doesn’t have their mandate anymore, it is certainly going to be tough for them to bounce back with the same vigour and ensure that they are noticed.
