Vodafone has rolled out a new campaign to communicate 'The network's fastest 3G speed'. Two TVCs conceptualised by Ogilvy & Mather are currently on-air.
The second film titled 'Haircut' shows a young boy at a hair cutting salon accompanied by his mother. His mother instructs the barber about the style of the haircut. Once completed, the child reacts by howling because he's unsatisfied with his new hairstyle. The lady clicks a picture of this and shares it with her husband. The film then goes on to show the woman trying to calm the child but fails to do so. She clicks another picture and shares it again with her husband. The mother son duo are then shown entering their house. As the door opens, the woman has a shocked expression on her face and the child stops crying. The father has had the same haircut as the son. The film ends with father and son shown playing together and the same super as the 'Farewell' film.
Rajiv Rao, NCD, Ogilvy & Mather informed that the brief given by Vodafone was to 'further strengthen its 3G network credentials and reassert the brand's leadership'.
The two films were uploaded on the brand's YouTube page on 18 March.
