Name: Raju Vanapala,

Role: Founder and CEO, Way2News.

Personal and professional mantra: Professionally I believe in 'Keep at it until it is done' and my personal motto is 'Embrace balance to achieve excellence'.

6:00—7:00am: I dedicate this hour to set a positive tone, which allows me to establish a clear and organised plan for the day. I also engage in some physical activity, ensuring I begin the day with focus and energy.

7:00—8:00am: The first half hour is devoted to quickly going through my to-do list and addressing important emails. This efficient start helps me prioritise tasks and ensure nothing urgent is overlooked. I then review the previous day’s performance of Way2News, roll out invites, schedules, and meeting agendas, ensuring I have a clear understanding of the day's unfolding events.

8:00—9:00am:  After a quick breakfast, I get ready for the office and also check in with the regional teams to map out the latest developments.

9:00am—12:00pm: These hours are focused towards tackling high-priority tasks and projects. I connect with various teams to align on key objectives, gather feedback from our readers and brainstorm strategies for maintaining our leadership in the hyperlocal news platform.

12:00—1:00pm: During lunchtime, I unplug from work to enjoy a relaxing meal. This short digital detox helps me recharge and regain my focus.

1:00—4:00pm: Back at my desk, I handle emails and administrative tasks and also meet with external stakeholders and partners to discuss strategy and growth, gaining insights into industry developments and trends.

4:00—6:00pm: I meet the sales teams to understand advertiser developments and feedback and brainstorm innovative ideas to help local and national brands reach their target audience effectively.

6:00—7:00pm: Before leaving from the office, I try to tie up any loose ends and check if anyone from my team needs assistance in solving something.

7:00—7:30pm: During this window, I transitioning from professional to personal time, mentally switching gears to unwind.

7:30—10:30pm: I indulge in personal activities, such as watching the news or enjoying OTT content. These pursuits provide a well-rounded balance to my day, allowing me to relax while staying informed about current trends. At times, I play badminton to stay fit. I usually have a light dinner to maintain overall wellbeing.

10:30—11:00pm: Before hitting the bed, I reflect on the day's achievements and enjoy a brief read. This routine ensures I get ample rest and am rejuvenated for the next day.
