92.7 BIG FM appoints Saurabh Doshi as regional head – West

92.7 BIG FM has appointed Saurabh Doshi as regional head – West Zone. In his new assignment, Doshi will be responsible for the west markets of Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat, Goa and Maharashtra (except Mumbai). Doshi will report to Soumen Ghosh Choudhury, national business head, 92.7 BIG FM.

92.7 BIG FM has appointed Saurabh Doshi as regional head – West Zone. In his new assignment, Doshi will be responsible for the west markets of Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat, Goa and Maharashtra (except Mumbai). Doshi will report to Soumen Ghosh Choudhury, national business head, 92.7 BIG FM.

 This appointment is Doshi’s second stint with the company, the earlier one being from 2006-2008.  Among the offices he occupied earlier, he was also the station head for the Kolkata station. Prior to joining 92.7 BIG FM, he was working with Reliance BIG TV, in the position of DGM and handling all content on the platform.

Commenting on the appointment, Soumen Ghosh Choudhury, business head, 92.7 BIG FM said, “Saurabh has proven to be a huge asset to the Company. The West market is extremely exciting and challenging and Saurabh’s people management and business analytical skills will work excellently for the Stations. I am confident that under his able leadership, we will continue to offer excellent entertainment and comprehensive solutions that meet requirements of both listeners and clients, while taking the stations to newer heights.”
