Harjeet Chhabra, chief marketing officer of amusement theme park Adlabs Imagica, has moved on to set up a content and delivery company Two Nice Men Mediaworks, in partnership with former colleague (at SAB TV, MSM)  Nisheeth N Neelkanth.

Neelkanth was with Star India in his last assignment, heading fiction content at Channel V.

The new venture started operations in mid-August.

Speaking with Campaign India, Chhabra said, "Two Nice Men will not just be a content company, it will have a play in content and delivery. Unless you have a platform, no one allows you to have the IP (of the content). The vision is to build our own OTT, along with content capabilities, with which we will create for TV, for brands, and for the web. The funds we raise along the way will keep feeding that OTT vision."

Stating that talks are on with 'the best possible' white label platforms, the former MSM and Times Group (WWM) executive said, "We have (roughly) 900 channels (in India), and 15 OTT players. Of those, 10 or so would be from broadcasters. OTT 1.0 was complementing TV. Now, it is live. And you can decide which shot you want to watch, shot by which camera."

He explained that there exists a gap at the top end of the market, which Two Nice Men's OTT platform would address.

In past assignments, Chhabra has also worked with Tata Communications (VSNL), Sansui and Zee Interactive Learning Systems.

Before Star India and MSM, Neelkanth worked with BharatBala Productions and started his career at Leo Burnett.
