Advertising Council of India brings back leadership program for young professionals

The Advertising Council of India (ACI) has announced the launch of the second edition of its 'New Age' leadership program for young professionals. Following the success of last year's program, ACI, a member of the Asian Federation of Advertising Associations, is continuing its commitment to fostering leadership skills within the industry.

AFAA Chairman Srinivasan Swamy described the program as "immersive, experiential, and transformative," selecting 25 participants under 35 to explore various industries in Mumbai and Pune over a four-day period. Guided by seasoned proctor Manish Advani, the program includes intensive brainstorming sessions aimed at enhancing competence and leadership abilities.

This year’s edition will also feature international participants, driving the learning experience. The program, offered free-of-charge, emphasises the role of industry associations in nurturing future leaders.

Applications are open until June 15, 2024. After a virtual interview process, the selected 25 will begin the residential program in Mumbai on July 18, spending three nights in Pune.

The ACI represents various key industry bodies, including The Advertising Club, the Advertising Agencies Association of India, and others, highlighting its central role in India's advertising sector.

More details and a brochure on the program are available here.
