Apurva Chamaria quits HCL to join RateGain as chief revenue officer
Apurva Chamaria has left HCL Technologies after a 13-year stint across markets to join RateGain as chief revenue officer. Chamaria was VP and head of corporate marketing at HCL Technologies. 
 
Chamaria's role at RateGain is a global one. He is mandated to align sales, marketing, alliances and customer success together to maximise revenue across all areas of the business.
 
Speaking with Campaign India about his move, he said, "There are two trends we are seeing. CMOs are moving to larger business roles. And start-ups are roping in senior marketing talent to take their businesses to the next level."
 
His last day at HCL was 28 February.
