Arun Raman joins Grey as national planning head
Grey group India has announced the appointment of Arun Raman as its national planning head. He was ED at MullenLowe Lintas Group prior to the development.

He succeeds Dheeraj Sinha, head of planning for South and South East Asia at Grey, who exited the agency to join Leo Burnett this April (link below).

Raman will report to Sunil Lulla, chairman and MD, Grey group India and is based in Mumbai. This will be his second stint at the agency, where he spent two years beginning 2000.

Lulla said, “We welcome Arun back. Arun’s stellar experience and understanding of brands across numerous branding disciplines is truly remarkable. With the right attitude, mindset and unique working style, he is undoubtedly one of the best planners we have hired to give demonstrable impact on our existing and new brands, creativity, businesses and people. We are happy to have him back in the space that he can explore freely to lift our brand’s strategy and able to give a whole new identity to our agency and client’s products.”

Raman said, “Grey Group is truly playing the ‘integration’ game impressively. I am looking forward to elevating the 'Famously Effective' credo of Grey to become a way of life across our offices and teams. And we are going to have loads of fun looking for new opportunities across our truly impressive current client roster, as well as the kind of clients we seek for us”

In a career spanning more than 20 years, he has also worked with Famous Innovations, DDB Mudra, Lowe (India, Sri Lanka, Uganda) and Ambience Publicis.
