BBDO bags Racold's creative mandate

The agency won the business following a multi-agency pitch involving iterations over two months

BBDO bags Racold's creative mandate

BBDO has won the ATL and BTL creative duties for water heater brand, Racold Thermo. The business will be handled out of the Mumbai office.

In an official communiqué, Mathew Job, managing director, Racold Thermo, said "Over the last few weeks, we have gone through a rigorous process to select an advertising agency to partner with us. We are excited to travel the next phase of our brand journey in partnership with BBDO."

Commenting on the win, Ajai Jhala, chief executive officer, BBDO India, said, “Racold has been an integral part of more Indian bathrooms than any other brand and now wants to play a more active role in people’s lives.  We, at BBDO, are very excited that we have been chosen to take Racold the next horizon."

Racold Thermo is a fully owned subsidiary of Ariston Thermo Spa – Italy, popular in the space of manufacturing and marketing of water and space heating products and their components. The Indian operations include a water heater plant in Chakan near Pune, Maharashtra that has been operational since 1999.
