Cannes Lions 2018: India in the pink of health with an opening day Grand Prix for TBWA

The Mumbai office of TBWA\India opened Cannes Lions on a strong note as its campaign for Asha Ek Hope Foundation bagged India a Grand Prix for Good on the opening day of the festival when awards for Lions Health & Wellness and Pharma categories were announced.

The agency also sparkled in the Pharma Lions by picking India's first Gold Lion. The Pharma Lions celebrates creative communications from pharmaceutical clients and services surrounding this highly-regulated industry and celebrates work that brings science and innovation to life, facilitating diagnosis, prescription, disease mitigation or illness management.

In the Health and Wellness Lions, India came out shining with two Silvers and a Bronze. The Health and Wellness Lions celebrate creativity for personal wellbeing. Communications entered here need to demonstrate an inspired approach to consumer healthcare; work which promotes non-prescription products and services, publicly educates to allow self-diagnosis or facilitates pro-active personal care.

Grey Group India bagged a Silver for 'The health purse (sehat ka batua) for Mahindra Rise and DDB Mudra's 'Project free period' for Johnson & Johnson Stayfree Sanitary Pads won India its second silver Lion.

McCann Health New Delhi bagged the bronze for its 'Noon Assembly' campaign for Kwality Milk.
